Welcome to Team Lone Tree where Lone Tree School (TK - 5 traditional), Wheatland Charter Academy (K - 5 Montessori-blend program), and Lone Tree Preschool come together on one campus to create a student-centered learning environment with highly qualified staff who work cooperatively, positively, and with dedication to student learning and safety for all. Our daily drive is to provide optimal experiences for students to master standards, enjoy social connectivity, and have the comfort in knowing that they are integral members of the school community.
Registration Begins March 5-6, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and any day following
Your child is eligible for 2018/19 Kindergarten enrollment if he/she will turn 5 years of age on or before September 1, 2018. Your child is eligible for Transitional Kindergarten if he/she turns 5 years of age between September 2 and December 2, 2018. Your school office team will be happy to help you with the enrollment process anytime. If you are interested in walking through a Kindergarten classroom, you are welcome to do this after signing in with the school office and only between 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on March 5-6. The walkthrough is for parents, guardians, and other interested adult family members only. We do not allow non-enrolled children during this window of walk through time. Children will meet teachers once a classroom has been assigned and just before school starts in August. The walkthrough time is not an opportunity to ask questions of the teachers, as they are busy conducting class with their current students. You will, however, be able to gain a feel for the classroom environments and see how much growth Kindergarten children make by this time of the school year.
Please bring the birth certificate and immunization record for your child when you come to the round-up. You will obtain a dental form when you arrive at the Kindergarten round-up. This dental form must be completed by your dentist and following a check-up before May of the Kindergarten school year, but we suggest that you take care of this at your child's very next dental visit.
