January 15, 5:00 p.m., Cafeteria - final preparation and packing plan meeting. This will be a good time to get together with other families to see if anyone has extra boots (possibly older students who have grown out of them), extra sleeping bag, etc. to share with others. We will answer any final packing and camp questions.
The current fee for the camp is $255.00; however final fundraising proceeds will reduce this fee. The final fee will be determined at the close of the last fundraiser. We plan for that final fee to be known no later than December 19 with a notice to be sent home on this day or earlier. If you wish to start making partial payment for Shady Creek, please click on the My School Bucks icon by visiting the school website (www.lonetree.wheatlandsd.com or www.charter.wheatlandsd.com) or come by the school office. If you would like to wait and pay in full, please do so either by My School Bucks or in person in the school office (cash or check made payable to Lone Tree School) no later than January 20th.
Student Registration and Health Form - if your child requires any medication through a prescription, this form must be completed by the physician. All medication must be in the original container with the prescriptive sticker affixed. Please bring all required medication to school no later than January 20th.
Our Camp Week is January 26-30, 2015
Shady Creek Outdoor School is located in the mountains of Nevada County, California. Our 4th and 5th graders attend a week-long in-residence outdoor education program focused on environmental education.
