Kindergarten Incentive Programs

Each year students have the opportunity to participate in a school wide incentive program for reading and math. Each grade level will have specific goals for students to achieve in order to receive/participate in the trimester awards. The goals for Kindergarten are:

Trimester 1 (November 7, 2014)

Reading: Knows 10 letter names, 10 letter sounds and 15 sight words

Math: Sorts by 2 attributes and creates a simple AB pattern

Trimester 2 (February 27, 2015)

Reading: Knows 48 letter names, 24 letter sounds and 40 sight words

Math: Recognizes 25 numbers and writes numbers from 1-25

Trimester 3 (May 29, 2015)

Reading: Knows all 52 sight words

Math: Adds and subtracts numbers from 1-10 using manipulatives

***Reward Trips and activities are a result in mastering these goals by the trimester date. Permission slips and information on these trips and activities will go home in the BEE folders when available!
