Homework
New Homework Policy:
Children in our class will have three facets to their homework which must be completed and returned on a daily basis. *
1. Reading their Accelerated Reader books and/or decodable take-home books.
2. Practicing their sight words.
3. Completing their Accelerated Math Practice or Exercise for the day--requires some supervision because it may not have been taught in class.
*This regular pattern will not take effect for the first couple of weeks of school.
Our class does not have homework on weekends, so that students have time to spend with family and friends.
If you feel that your child is spending too much or too little time on their assignments, please let us know so we can work with your child toward a solution.
Please work with your child to stay on top of long-term projects.
